Welcome to Doculet ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Doculet platform, including our website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

Doculet provides AI-powered document verification services. You understand and agree that:

• You will only submit documents that you have the legal right to submit
• All documents submitted must be authentic and unaltered
• Submitting falsified, forged, or fraudulent documents is strictly prohibited
• Verification results are based on our AI analysis and may not be 100% accurate
• We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service for any document

Fraudulent use of the Service may result in immediate account termination and referral to appropriate legal authorities.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Submit fraudulent, forged, or manipulated documents
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Collect or harvest user information without consent
• Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

Certain features of the Service require payment. You agree to pay all applicable fees as described on our pricing page. All fees are:

• Non-refundable unless otherwise specified
• Subject to change with reasonable notice
• Exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise

We may suspend or terminate your access if payment is not received when due.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Doculet and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of documents you submit. By submitting documents, you grant us a limited license to process them for verification purposes.

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Verification results will be 100% accurate
• The Service will meet your specific requirements
• Documents verified by our Service will be accepted by all institutions

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOCULET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
